Module 10 assignment, you will investigate one managed care plan.

·         Contact the Human Resource office of a large employer in your area (college, correctional facility, manufacturer, etc.) and ask about what types of employer health plans are offered.  Identify the type of managed care organization and describe their finance structure in terms of premiums, deductibles, co-pays, and whether the employer offers HRAs or HSAs.

Objective:  Review the relationships of community medicine and public health systems.

 Module 12 assignment, you will compare and contrast the community medicine and public health missions and services.

·         Write a comprehensive summary of the community medicine and public health services in your community describing the Resource Compendium assignment information you have compiled. This the wrap-up of all the local resources a patient may need to know to be an advocate for their own health care.
