We will look at how this art contributed to the larger development of Western art. It is imperative to understand Ancient Near Eastern art in order to see how it impacted later artistic developments.<\/span>\r\n<h2 id=\"anonymous_element_34\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">What You'll Learn To Do: Examine Ancient Egyptian art and its impact on art history.<\/span><\/h2>\r\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\">In Module 2 we will examine Ancient Egyptian art. We will look at how this art contributed to the larger development of Western art. Throughout history various groups wanted to destroy Civilization, and return the ancient ways.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Recent events in Syria, and Iraq are having a negative impact on the history of art.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Islamists have been erasing the history of art by destroying artifacts. In this module we will be looking back in history, and looking forward to a hopeful solution to these dire events.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\">We will study the beginning of civilization known as the Neolithic Revolution.
