miscommunications--e.g. DEMON for DEVIN\r\n\r\nCan make me seem illiterate--depends on audience--e.g. U R CRAZee...it's embarrassing if people think I'm illiterate, since I'm an English professor.\r\n\r\nEasier than leaving phone messages and I can respond when I choose\r\n\r\nWorks when I don't have wireless Internet access\r\n\r\nCan be horrifying--e.g. LOL meanining laugh out loud
