Personal interviews can be excellent sources that can help you build your\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/owl.excelsior.edu\/argument-and-critical-thinking\/modes-of-persuasion\/modes-of-persuasion-ethos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ethos<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/owl.excelsior.edu\/argument-and-critical-thinking\/modes-of-persuasion\/modes-of-persuasion-pathos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pathos<\/a><\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/owl.excelsior.edu\/argument-and-critical-thinking\/modes-of-persuasion\/modes-of-persuasion-logos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">logos\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>in your essay.\r\n\r\nWhen conducting an interview for your research, it\u2019s\u00a0important to be prepared in order to make the most of your time with the person you are interviewing.\r\n\r\n<hr \/>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"teal-example \">\r\n<div class=\"fa-icon\"><\/div>\r\n<div class=\"example\">\r\n<div class=\"textbox exercises\">\r\n<h3>TIPS:<\/h3>\r\nThe following tips will help you get the most out of your interview:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Prepare questions you want to ask in advance.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Be prepared with some follow up questions, just in case the questions you have prepared don\u2019t get the interviewee talking as you had hoped.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Have a recording device handy.
