The first task is to learn the vocabulary and how the information displays on a spreadsheet. Next you will practice building a practice worksheet from a blank form followed by using a spreadsheet to create your personal budget.\r\n<h3>Learning Outcomes: The student will:<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Understand spreadsheet vocabulary<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Be able to label elements of a simple spreadsheet<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Be able to create a spreadsheet from a blank form by<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Enter and edit data in columns and rows<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Understand how to use the AutoSum key, as well as a simple formula<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>Tasks:<\/h3>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>Spreadsheet Components \u2013 review the terms used for spreadsheets<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Concepts Quiz. Using the Spreadsheet Components, take the concepts review quiz. (12 points)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Building a Spreadsheet - Information on how to create a spreadsheet.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Test Scores Assignment. Create your first spreadsheet (5 points)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Personal Budget Assignment. Create a Personal Budget based on what you have learned. (10 points.)<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<h3>Submitting your work:<\/h3>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>When completing each task, make sure to save your document to the desktop or your personal storage unit (memory stick, jump drive, etc.)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Click on the underlined word(s) at the top of each assignment.
