This week’s lab is based on kinetics. This lab provides practice for determining the order of reaction, using rate-laws, and calculation of the rate constant.
Objectives: After completing this week’s assignments you will be able to:
- Determine the rate law for a chemical equation.
- Evaluate a two-step reaction with different rate constants using dice.
- Determine the rate-determining step of a reaction.
- Calculate the rate constant for a given reaction.
