Outline for this Unit
This week’s lab is based on equilibrium. Students will model equilibrium using construction paper and dice. Students will write the equilibrium expression and solve for the equilibrium constant for several reactions.
Objectives: After completing this week’s assignments you will be able to:
- Determine the equilibrium expression for a chemical equation.
- Calculate the equilibrium constant for a chemical equation.
- Compare the numerical equilibrium constant and the relative amounts of reactants and products to evaluate an equilibrium expression.
