This course will not use a traditional textbook.\u00a0 As part of the Chancellor's OER initiative, we will be relying solely on Open Educational Resources that have been compiled for you in Blackboard.\u00a0 Make sure you check your reading and assignments regularly since these sources were chosen and specifically tailored to meet our Course Learning Outcomes.<\/li>\r\n \t
  2. Scientific (non-graphing) calculator.\u00a0A T1-30xIIS or similar can be purchased for ~$10.\u00a0Graphing calculators will not be permitted on exams or quizzes.<\/li>\r\n \t
  3. Reliable access to the internet.\u00a0 Since reading, assignments and all other course materials are posted online, you must access the course several times per week.\u00a0 If you do not have a computer or internet access at home, see me immediately.\u00a0 The computer club and other resources are available if you need them.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>","rendered":"
