What you’ll learn to do: describe analysis
Analysis is a critical thinking skill that has been applied to academic study since the time of Aristotle (384–322 BCE). It is a foundational tool across disciplines, from chemistry to literature to business to philosophy. Understanding what analysis is will be of value to you throughout your college career. Although it might seem like this is an academic skill you have to learn, you can apply what you already do as a thinker to your work as a student. The very fact that you are trying to learn more as a student demonstrates you are already an analytical thinker.
