What you’ll learn to do: recognize and evaluate keys to successful analytic writing
In this Writing Workshop, we will be closely examining and applying three key concepts from this module: analysis, inference, and synthesis. As we work toward a more thorough understanding, we will see how these ideas are related, and why they are considered so important to scholarly work.
After you have read analytically and performed some quick self-assessments to measure your progress, you will be ready for a few short writing assignments that will give you a chance to focus and clarify your understanding of these complex, interrelated concepts.
