In order to get past the panic and make some good decisions, the first thing to do is ask yourself some questions about what you want to achieve in a particular communication situation. Consider three general topics:\n<ul>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What\u2019s the purpose of the communication? What business goal do I need to achieve?<\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who is my audience \/ cohort for this communication?\n<ul>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How many people need to be involved?<\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How do they function as a group?<\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How comfortable are they with technology?<\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What technology do we already share?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What do I need to show or talk through?\n<ul>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If this were an in-person meeting, would I want a white board? A flipchart?
