Have you ever seen a human cannonball? How long do you think they are in the air before they land on inflated bag? Actually, we can find the answer by solving quadratic inequality. We talked about how we can solve inequalities using graphs of functions. However, what if we don’t know the graph of the function? In this section, we will consider another method to solve those inequalities – polynomial and rational inequalities.
