Among many answers, one of the\u00a0authors compared a number of names ending in\u00a0<em>-s<\/em>\u00a0looking for possessive forms with and without a final\u00a0<em>s\u00a0<\/em>and created a graph comparing incidences of Type A (with a final\u00a0<em>s<\/em>) and Type B (without a final\u00a0<em>s<\/em>) forms. The author explained that the y-axis shows the difference in incidence between types A and B.
