Cars Parked Outside on Concrete Road, the first one is orangeIn this module, you will begin the study of hypothesis testing. That is when information from a sample is used to test claims about a population. For example, if a car manufacturer claims that the fuel economy of a particular car model is 21 mpg and a consumer organization reports that their study of this model of cars found the fuel economy to be 18 mpg, is the manufacturer’s statement incorrect? Or, is this because the consumer organization just looked at a sample of cars rather than all the cars of this model produced by the manufacturer?
