What you’ll learn to do: Understand a chi-square test of independence and interpret the conclusion in context
Are people who have a higher level of education more likely to own a home? Is owning a home dependent on the level of education? To answer these questions, a chi-square test of independence would be done. A chi-square test of independence is done to see if there is an association between two categorical variables. The procedure for doing this test is similar to the procedure for doing a chi-square goodness-of-fit test.
