What you’ll learn to do: understand and evaluate quantitative and qualitative data
Not all data can be represented in the same way. If the data is categorical, different graphs and statistics are used than if the data is quantitative (numerical). There are a variety of ways that data can be gathered, though the best methods involve selecting the items in a way that is random. There are also several problems that can happen with data collection that can lead to incorrect conclusions about the population of interest.
