What you’ll learn to do: understand descriptive and inferential statistics and identify key terms in given scenarios
Is the average temperature of humans really 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit? If we gather data from a sample and organize the data, we are using descriptive statistics. If we use the data to make conclusions about a larger population, we are using inferential statistics. In this section you will learn basic vocabulary related to statistics.
