What you’ll learn to do: State a conclusion to a hypothesis test and explain what a p-value means
A hole-in-one is when a golfer gets the ball in the hole in a single hit of the ball. Assuming the golfer is a novice, this would be unusual. Whether data is considered unusual or not, based on a given null and alternative hypothesis, is determined by a test statistic and a number known as a p-value.
