What you’ll learn to do: Understand a chi-square test of homogeneity and interpret the conclusion in context
Are more babies being born during the week and fewer on the weekends now than in the 1980s? To answer this question, we would want to do a hypothesis test called a chi-square test of homogeneity. This type of test allows us to see if two separate populations follow the same categorical distribution. The procedure for doing this test is similar to the other chi-square tests we have studied.
