What you’ll learn to do: use the addition and multiplication rule to calculate probabilities
Many probabilities can be determined if you know if the events are either mutually exclusive or if the events are independent. For example, the probability of rolling two sixes would require knowing how to calculate probabilities for independent events. The probability of rolling an even or a five would require knowing how to calculate probabilities for mutually exclusive events.
