It\u2019s daunting to rework something for which you have already taken great pains. But don\u2019t be tempted to give up. Most often, the final outcome is worth the effort. Take time off and then read the comments again carefully and objectively to ensure that you have clearly understood the reviewers\u2019 concerns.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li class=\"li2\"><strong><span class=\"s4\">Articulate\u00a0point-by-point responses<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s1\">: Number the reviewers\u2019 points and respond to them sequentially. If you're required to respond to your reviewers, this makes it easier for others to\u00a0follow what you have done.\u00a0Even if your reviewers never see your responses, this is an effective way to inventory their advice and make sure that you've evaluated all of it.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li class=\"li2\"><strong><span class=\"s4\">Create\u00a0well-reasoned responses to input<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s1\">: If you do not agree with a reviewer\u2019s comment, that's only fair.
