How is the hydrologic cycle important to planet Earth’s survival? Let’s take time to compare and contrast surface water to runoff water. The remainder of the module will be devoted to looking at the work of glaciers and the work of air, weathering, erosion and deposition.
Overview
In this module we will continue our study of Earth Science by looking at the Earth’s surface. This module will cover the hydrologic cycle and it importance to the entire Earth. We will look closely at ground and runoff water. The rest of the time will be spent on work of glaciers and the work of air on our Earth’s surface by weathering, erosion and deposition.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this module, you will be able to:
- Illustrate basic scientific concepts in Earth Science and Astronomy.
- Sketch and label a profile of the continental margin going from land to deep ocean.
- Compare and contrast geology, meterology, and oceanography.
ContentÂ
This module will take a look at the hydrologic cycle, water-runoff and underground. Also, we will study the work of glaciers and the work of air.
