- Identify the pair of forces that satisfy Newton’s Third Law.
- Identify the two objects interacting to generate a particular force, including which object the force is exerted on and which object the force is exerted by.
- Recognize that a Newton’s Third Law pair of forces must meet the following criteria:
- they are the same type of force,
- both forces have the same magnitude,
- the pair of forces point in opposite directions, and
- the object causing the force and the object feeling the force are switched
- Identify the pair of forces that satisfy Newton’s Third Law.
