Identify the two objects interacting to generate a particular force, including which object the force is exerted on and which object the force is exerted by.
Recognize that a Newton’s Third Law pair of forces must meet the following criteria:
they are the same type of force,
both forces have the same magnitude,
the pair of forces point in opposite directions, and
the object causing the force and the object feeling the force are switched
