The second part of this\u00a0support activity uses the\u00a0<em>Generate Random Numbers<\/em> tool to select a simple\u00a0random sample from a finite population and then has students calculate the average of\u00a0these values.\r\n\r\nIt is recommended that students work in pairs at a computer or using their phones, or\u00a0they should work in close enough proximity to help each other and compare the outputs\u00a0from the tool.
