Computer Science (A.S.)
MAJOR NOTE to Advisors:
The Computer Science Pathway is recommended for students entering with Math Level 8 or above, as the Introductory Programming classes typically have a Math level 10 pre-requisite. If an incoming student is between Math Level 1-6, the student may be more successful and more timely in selecting the Information and Networking Technology (IN01) program, as the program only requires MTH 140/165 to be completed math-wise. The Computer Science program, in contrast, requires MTH 210,211,220, and *MTH160, so many more “bridge” math courses would need to be completed, affecting the number of semesters required to successfully graduate.
