All changes to a student’s pathway, program, or major must be submitted via the online Pathway/Major Change Form. This form is available to advisors within Banner Self-Service > Faculty Services > Student Information Menu > Request a Change of Major. Students may submit a request by logging into myMCC > Students Tab > My Account > Academic Advising > Request a Change of Major.
Submission of this form will update the student’s pathway, and may update the student’s program or major if they are eligible for admission to the program. If you have any concern about the automatic update of one of these fields, a comment may be entered in the notes box. If, for some reason, you are unable to use this form to submit your request, contact Advisement & Transfer Services for assistance.
This change request should be submitted as soon as a student is sure of the pathway/program/major they wish to pursue. The sooner this form is submitted, the sooner the student’s pathway will reflect their most current goals, allowing for more accurate advising and communications.
