Clinical Lab Tech (CL01)<\/h2>\r\n

Curricular Requirements<\/h3>\r\nRequired equipment\/supplies\u00a0<\/strong>Lab coat must be purchased. Typically $45 - $50.\r\nMust carry medical insurance during clinical experiences. Students will also be billed for liability insurance for the last semester.\r\nInternships\/experiential learning\u00a0<\/strong>15 hrs histology clinical experience 1st summer \u2013 must have transportation.\r\nLast semester is spent in clinical rotations\r\n\u2022 Must have transportation\r\n\u2022 May be day or evening shift\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Curricular nuances<\/strong><\/td>\r\nBIO 155 may be substituted for BIO 148\r\nBIO 144\/145 may be substituted for BIO 134\/135\r\nCHE 151 may be substituted for CHE 145\r\nStudents who are trained phlebotomists may be waived from CLT 110.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

Dental Assisting Certificate (DA01)<\/h2>\r\nAdmission requirements:<\/strong>\r\n\r\nHigh school diploma or GED prior to the application deadline date. (High school seniors will be confirmed in June.)\r\n\u00b7 High school chemistry and biology recommended\r\n\u00b7 2.0 cumulative GPA required, including all credit bearing coursework at previous colleges\r\n\u00b7 US citizen or have Permanent Resident Status by the application deadline date\r\n\u00b7 New York State resident\r\n\r\nProgram faculty strongly recommend potential students shadow at a dental office to experience the many facets of the profession.\r\n
