Full-time students can get Pell for up to six years for their undergraduate degree. However, the Pell time limit is prorated when they are part-time meaning Pell could go over the six years when Pell is adjusted to part-time studies.\r\n\r\n<strong>TAP limit:<\/strong> For TAP (New York State financial aid) the limit is a total of four years, or eight semesters, of which, students enrolled at two-year colleges can receive a maximum of six semesters of TAP. TAP is for full-time students except for individuals with learning disabilities. If students transfer to a four-year school, TAP eligible students can receive TAP there.\r\n\r\nPart-time students\u00a0are not eligible for the TAP grant.
