What you’ll learn to do: Multiply and divide mixed numbers and complex fractions
Rufus volunteers at an animal shelter. Every morning, he feeds each dog [latex]\Large\frac{2}{3}[/latex] cup of food. If each bag of dog food contains [latex]25\Large\frac{1}{3}[/latex] cups of food, how many dogs can he feed with each bag? This may sound like a simple division problem, but Rufus will need to figure out how to deal with a mixed number, [latex]25\Large\frac{1}{3}[/latex], before he can find the answer. In this section, you’ll learn how to multiply and divide with mixed numbers and complex fractions.
