Students will select one of the topics below for a discussion  to research and then present as a class discussion or put on a discussion board. (The students can be asked to post the their choice so there will not be duplicates.) The instructor stipulates the directions needed for the discussion such as referencing and documenting from a medical or educational website, paraphrasing the information, and putting the information into one’s own words. A rubric helps aid the students in their research. The instructor may want the students to respond to some of the discussions in class or on a discussion board.
