The purpose of a Self Check is to help you see whether you are mastering the key concepts from the content. Self Checks also alert your instructor that you\u2019re working through the material. To navigate to the Self Check, click through the readings to the final page in a tile (in this tile, the Self Check will be on the next page),\r\n\r\nIn this type of practice assessment, you will answer each question and then receive immediate feedback about that question before you are able to move on to the next. At the end of the assessment, Waymaker will give you a summary designed to help you decide if you\u2019re ready to move on or if you need to go back and review the material again.\r\n<h3>Getting a Grade<\/h3>\r\nIf your instructor chooses, Self Checks may be assigned as a completion grade.\u00a0If they are assigned, <strong>you will earn your grade by completing ALL of the Self Checks at the end of each tile (be sure to click \"Finish\"!)<\/strong>. Upon completion of the Self Check, you will see a checkmark that says \u201cSelf Check Done\u201d in the bottom-right corner of the tile. Your grade is not contingent on answering the questions correctly.\r\n<div class=\"textbox key-takeaways\">\r\n<h3>Study Tip<\/h3>\r\nYou can answer Self Check questions as many times as you want. The questions provide immediate feedback on how well you understand the material. Use them to help you know when you\u2019re ready to move on or whether you\u2019re on track preparing for the graded quiz.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<h2><strong>Understanding the Feedback<\/strong><\/h2>\r\nWhen you take a Self Check, Waymaker generates feedback to help you understand where you are with your learning. If you took the Self Check and got all of the questions right, you likely have a good understanding of the material for the section and you will see a message saying \"Excellent Job!\" with encouragement to move on to the next section. But what if you thought you were doing really well, but you actually needed to study more?
