Summary

The Social Ecological Model is constructed of five different levels that help factor in the social, cultural, and economical factors that make up behavior. These levels include intrapersonal, interpersonal, community, organizational, and public policy. This model is used by health professionals around the globe in order to provide successful health interventions to patients and people alike. This framework works in many different situations as there are many factors to each level and the levels can be interchangeable to each other in order to properly address a scenario. The Social Ecological Model is not fit for every situation as each scenario has its own challenges, in addition to the challenges that can come about from the framework.
