Lumen will assign you a very generic password to start with (like “changeme”).  It’s a good idea to update this password to something more unique the first time you use Candela.

To update your password, visit the “Profile” button on the left navigation menu.  This can be found on any of the edit screens, once you’ve logged into the course.

The profile page offers lots of details you can update.  Please DO NOT change the Admin Color Scheme.  Having visual consistency across all Candela courses is important.

It is up to you whether to update other personal details, like your name and biography.  You’ll notice the “new password” boxes towards the bottom of the page.

Be sure to click the red “Update Profile” button at the bottom of the page when you’re finished.
