Introduction<\/h2>\r\nWe're so glad that you're working to expand the wide world of OER College Algebra\u00a0materials. As you know, algebra is a very rewarding subject to teach, as it can be approached so many ways. This variety means that though many OER materials already exist for College Algebra, there's no one-size-fits-all solution in place. Even if you find a template course you admire, you're likely to need to do at least some<\/em> customization to fit your school, your program, and your students.\r\n

College Algebra<\/a>- Lumen Learning\/ OpenStax<\/td>\r\nin-text video support<\/td>\r\nThis editable text is sourced from OpenStax College Algebra by Jay Abramson, et al. Topics covered include a study of a wide range of equations, and algebraic operations used to solve them. The idea of a function, and a toolkit of functions is introduced. Graphs of functions and transformations are also covered. The study of quadratic functions includes treatment of complex solutions, and the algebra of complex numbers. Thorough coverage of systems of equations includes methods for solving systems with two and three variables. Conic sections, sequences and series and topics in probability finish out the text. Precalculus - Stitz-Zeager<\/a><\/td>\r\nFull OHM course<\/a> (called College Algebra, can be adapted), online homework, video support<\/td>\r\nThis course is based on College Algebra, by Carl Stitz and Jeff Zeager. Linear, Polynomial, Rational, Exponential, and Logarithmic functions are defined and studied through the rule of 4: graphs, tables, equations and words. Additionally, conic sections, matrices, and an introduction to sequences and series are available.
