MA 130 Intermediate Algebra

This course is taught at Herkimer County Community College using Open Educational Resources (OER) curated by Herkimer faculty Faith Thompson, and supported by Open SUNY Textbooks.

This course is designed to give a thorough treatment of those topics in algebra necessary for success in later mathematics courses. Topics include fundamental algebraic operations, exponents, radicals, absolute value, factoring, algebraic fractions, equations, inequalities, complex numbers and graphing.
