The last significant revisions were Summer 2025 but minor revisions are always underway.\r\n\r\nThe original text, Foundations of Education, was created as a broad introduction to the teacher education program at SUNY Oneonta. The faculty of SUNY Oneonta designed this book with the intention to give an overview of topics that would be returned to throughout the student\u2019s preparatory program. The authors strove to create a reader-friendly overview that would be used as the basis for classroom discussion as they welcomed future educators and asked them to reflect on what kind of teacher they will be.\r\n<h2>About the original Team:<\/h2>\r\n<img class=\"size-medium wp-image-573 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com\/courses-images\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3347\/2021\/03\/22180501\/1cbecd7bfcde41fc811ffb9e58143412-300x133-300x133.png\" alt=\"SUNY OER Services Logo\" width=\"300\" height=\"133\" \/>Foundations of Education was designed and developed by the Education Department at SUNY Oneonta in cooperation with the SUNY Oneonta Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center.
