- I like to use this scene when discussing heroic punishment and humor theory–both of which are more bizarre even than this scene!
- What is contingent and what is necessary? This binary can be discussed in light of the ways the woman is proved to be a witch.
- “Who are you who are so wise in the ways of science?” With the current attacks on science, the tie-ins you’d make here are obvious.
