[You arrive at the ruins of an old building. It seems deserted, but friendly and calm – like a place that invites weary travelers to pause and reflect on their journey, and maybe… on them self? You enter the courtyard of the largest building.]

Congratulations, Brave Hero! We have made it to our next stop! We’ll stop to rest here a few days while we acquire some new skills and additional tools.

[You take a moment to look around the ruins and you notice a long hallway leading off the courtyard. There’s a flickering light inside, beckoning you to enter. Curious you enter the hallway and find that the walls are lined with mirrors!]

[The torches placed between the mirrors cast a flickering golden light on the mirrors, which make your reflections seem soft and warm and somehow deeper than in a regular mirror. You find yourself gazing and your image in the nearest one and seeing it reflected endlessly in the mirror behind you and further down the hallway.]

[You notice the words etched into the top of the glass “Who are you?” You start to let your mind wander as you reflect on this question. ]
