Ending a discussion is a way to bring closure to a conversation.

Closure

“Thanks for the information, I really learned a lot.”              “This was a great discussion.”

“We covered a great deal of information.”

Natural conclusion

“It was nice talking to you.”                            “I am glad I ran into you.”

“Nice talking to you!”

 “I’d like to talk about this when we have more time.”

Awareness of time and context of a discussion is important.

Ending a discussion respectfully is not considered rude.
