The taxonomy\u00a0provides a way to\u00a0classify objectives and learning outcomes while showing its versatility as its use spread to a variety of educational applications.\u00a0An important resource for\u00a0writing objectives with verbs classified by level, the taxonomy helps\u00a0teachers to\u00a0track whether students are using higher-order thinking skills while engaged in a lesson.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div style=\"font-weight: 400\">\r\n\r\nBloom\u2019s taxonomy underwent a major revision\u00a0by Krathwohl\u00a0&amp; Anderson (2001), as depicted in the\u00a0Figure One. This revision allows teachers to identify the complexity of thinking required of the students by a lesson.
