All ethical dilemmas are taken right out of today\u2019s business world.<\/p>\r\n<p id=\"fs-idm391910528\"><strong>Customer satisfaction and quality.<\/strong> Because customer satisfaction and quality are the foundation of all business principles, these important topics are addressed in most chapters within <em>Introduction to Business<\/em>. Each chapter stresses that satisfied customers who experience high-quality products and services become loyal customers. A box in every chapter called \u201cCustomer Satisfaction and Quality\u201d demonstrates how these concepts are applied in actual companies.<\/p>\r\n<p id=\"fs-idm384370128\"><strong>Managing change.<\/strong> Change in the business or consumer environment can lead to failures like Kodak\u2019s and successes like Apple\u2019s. In addition, a feature called \u201cCatching the Entrepreneurial Spirit\u201d offers practical insights into the challenges and rewards of actually owning and managing a small business.<\/p>\r\n<p id=\"fs-idm526807104\"><strong>Global business economy.<\/strong> In <strong><a href=\"\/contents\/6741195b-9ad2-42c5-bf33-fe9848c46583\">Chapter 3<\/a><\/strong>, Competing in the Global Marketplace, we discuss why global trade is important to the United States, why nations trade, barriers to international trade, how companies enter the global marketplace, and a host of other international concepts and topics. The Trends section of each chapter frequently includes a discussion of how globalization will affect specific business activities. In addition, our Global Business box demonstrates how businesses are expanding their workforce, products, and customer base throughout the world in order to grow.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div id=\"fs-idm383172048\" class=\"bc-section section\">\r\n<h4>Features<\/h4>\r\n<p id=\"fs-idm658797328\">Rather than provide a dry recitation of facts, we illustrate concepts with contemporary examples.
