Chapter 11: Public Speaking

The purpose of this chapter is to introduce you to the elements of public speaking. These elements include different types of public speeches you will use throughout the course as well as in a business setting. Effective public speaking skills allow you, as the speaker, to form connections with your audience in order to motivate them to act on your message. This chapter will teach you how to give effective elevator, impromptu, informative, and persuasive speeches.
