Bonds are issued by different kinds of organizations\u2014by governments and government agencies as well as by corporations\u2014giving investors different kinds of partners in growth.<\/p>\r\n<p id=\"fwk-134226-ch16_s00_p03\" class=\"para editable block\">Since bonds are a different form of capital than stocks, and since bond investments are made in different kinds of borrowers, bonds offer diversification from the stocks in your portfolio.
