It offers channels for group conversations on specific topics, including <strong>Science-<strong>Natural<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong> Physics<\/strong>.\n\nYou can also send direct messages to individuals or groups. Use it from any computer or mobile device.\n<div class=\"textbox shaded\" style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/info.lumenlearning.com\/join-slack\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to request to join the Lumen community Slack<\/a>.<\/strong><\/div>\n\n<hr \/><h2>Resources<\/h2>\n<h3>Lumen Courses<\/h3>\nLumen currently only offers one\u00a0physics template course. This\u00a0can serve as the starting point for your own development. You can remix and adapt anything from the course below quite easily.\n<div class=\"textbox\">\n<h4>Physics\u00a0Courses<\/h4>\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/courses.lumenlearning.com\/physics\" target=\"_blank\">Physics (for Non-Majors<\/a>): This course covers the standard topics of a two-semester algebra-based physics course.<\/li>\n \t<li>Physics for Majors Volumes 1\u20133: This three volume collection of calculus-based physics covers a wide spread of topics. These volumes are currently under development.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\nThere are also algorithmic physics questions available in Lumen's\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.myopenmath.com\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\">MyOpenMath<\/a>,\u00a0an online math education system. You can visit the site to request an instructor account and access the questions.\n<h2>ATD\u00a0Information<\/h2>\nThis section provides support for faculty and course developers involved with the <a href=\"http:\/\/achievingthedream.org\/resources\/initiatives\/open-educational-resources-oer-degree-initiative\" target=\"_blank\">Achieving the Dream OER Degree Initiative<\/a>.\n\nCurrently 5\u00a0institutions have included physics\u00a0courses in their course plans.\n<h3>Collaboration Meetings<\/h3>\nLumen is hosting Collaboration meetings to help bring faculty together as they work on developing their courses.
