As such, there are more modules than can be taught in a single semester.\r\n\r\nWe have two primary recommendations for teaching the course. One method has a broad coverage, while the other focuses more on the human body, with in-depth focus on each body system. Please note that we do <strong>NOT<\/strong> recommend teaching\u00a0all 26 modules in a single semester.\r\n<h2>Broad Approach<\/h2>\r\nThis first method has a broad coverage, discussing the the scope and diversity of life.\u00a0Below are recommended modules to include in this approach.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Module 1: Introduction to Biology<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 2: Viruses<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 3: History of Life<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 4: Prokaryotes<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 5: Protists<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 6: Fungi<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 7: Plant Diversity<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 8: Plant Structure and Function<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 9: Plant Reproduction<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 10: Animal Diversity<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 11: Invertebrates<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 12: Vertebrates<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 13: Overview of Body Systems<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 25: Ecology of Living Things<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Module 26: Ecology and the Environment<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nOptional: You can also include a deeper focus on one or two\u00a0body systems of your choosing, from modules 14\u201324.\r\n<h2>Human-Centric Approach<\/h2>\r\nThis second method has a light discussion of the diversity of life, but is largely focused on the human body.
