The investigation proceeds with the following steps:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Produce Data: Determine what to measure, then collect the data. <strong>\u2190 Types of Statistical Studies and Producing Data<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t<li>Explore the Data: Analyze and summarize the data. <strong><strong class=\"oli_term\">\u2190<\/strong> Summarizing Data Graphically and Numerically, <strong class=\"oli_term\">Examining Relationships: Quantitative Data<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t<li>Draw a Conclusion: Use the data, probability, and statistical inference to draw a conclusion about the population.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<em>Types of Statistical Studies and Producing Data<\/em> focused on methods for collecting reliable data. <em>Summarizing Data Graphically and Numerically<\/em> focused on summarizing and analyzing data for a quantitative variable. In this module, we focus on summarizing and analyzing the relationship between two quantitative variables.
