Learning Outcomes

After successfully completing this module, you should be able to:

  1. Recognize how to get started in the course.
  2. Identify ways to succeed when learning online.
  3. Complete a certification in recognizing plagiarism.
  4. Define netiquette.
  5. Identify how best to contribute to discussions.
  6. Create and post an introduction to the class and respond to classmates.

The main objectives of the START HERE module are to familiarize yourself with online learning expectations, introduce yourself to the class, and get to know your classmates. The assignments for this module are considered “Low Stakes, High Success.”  What this means is you have a chance to “test run” the course, ask questions, and have fun!
