If you learn some key strategies, you can be quite successful in taking tests.\u00a0There are many skills and strategies you can employ to help you be a better test taker:\r\n\r\nBrigham Young University (BYU) has a put together a set\u00a0of general guidelines\u00a0for test preparation, along with specific strategies\u00a0for doing well on different kinds of tests. <a href=\"https:\/\/ce.byu.edu\/course-catalog\/test-prep\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Read BYU's test preparation recommendations here<\/a>.\r\n\r\nAnother list of strategies, widely used, is LAB B2OWL\u2014an acronym to help you remember critical aspects of successful test-taking strategies. For instance, let\u2019s say your exam has one essay question worth 50\u00a0percent, and 5 identifications worth 10 percent each.
