To Do
- Use this tool from Imagine Easy Academy to analyze the content you find on websites.
- Select one of the search results you got from the previous activity that seems promising to use in your essay revision. Paste the web address of the article into the tool, and then click “Evaluate.”
- Look in the right-column of your screen to go through the steps of website analysis: purpose, accuracy, authority, relevance, and currency. Complete all the questions, including the written answers it asks for. When you finish, email the results to yourself so that you can turn this activity in.
Note: the Imagine Easy Academy tool may not work with all web articles. If you wish to evaluate a source that’s not compatible with the tool, you can use the C.R.A.A.P. method instead. Write 1-2 sentences each about your understanding of the source’s currency, relevance, authority, accuracy, and purpose.
