Directions
In the module Thinking and Analysis, we provide general guidance in “Identify study techniques that help long-term retention of knowledge”. For this discussion, spend 10 minutes gathering your individual thoughts regarding your learning techniques and study habits before you answer the following prompt.
Write a post of at least 200 words discussing your ideas regarding your learning techniques and study habits.
Address at least TWO of following questions in your post:
- Where do you study? Are you consistent about where you study or do you study wherever you can?
- How do focus during your study time?
- Do you plan your studying? If so, how do you prioritize your time?
- Have you ever crammed for a test? What was your experience?
- How often do you review notes or text highlights?
- Have you studied in a group? What was your experience?
- What do you think has been your most successful study/learning technique?
Read two of your classmates’ posts.
Respond twice with at least 100 words discussing how your study techniques compare or contrast with your classmates.
